Considering how few things you will get for free in Go Fishing, doing quests is actually really worth it. The best part is that most of the fish you turn in won't even be removed from your inventory , making the rewards you get completely free. The only thing you'll have to do is find the NPCs. Also, these types of quests might even reward rods in the future, making them that much more useful.
