Voyager Material Pack 2.0 is an improvement on the first Voyager by the author "Bysymbiome67", which corrects the shortcomings of the first version and adds some new effects!
Voyager2.0 Description
The Voyager 2.0 shader is the second and most recent version of the Voyager shader package, which has been several years since its first release. The new 2.0 version is still being updated, and some new content was released a few days ago. It is not just for compatibility, but Voyager shader 2.0 also adds some new features to the classic Voyager package; brighter greens and blues make the grass and water surface more prominent, while the swaying and fluctuating effects make the whole world feel as if it has life and is lifelike. While the details of the shadows are not particularly rich, they move with the position of the sun or the moon in the sky, so at least they are dynamic.
This means that the same structure or environment will have different appearances when observed at different times. Voyager shader also has a volumetric cloud effect. These clouds are big and fluffy, just like the real clouds you see when you look up at the sky outside. They expand and move like real clouds, and they can also cast their own shadows, moving with the movement of clouds and the sun. The reflections are also excellent, as long as it doesn't rain or it's too dark, you can see the reflection of your surroundings.
For Voyager shader 2.0, you need a specific version of Optifine and Iris due to compatibility issues. If you are using Minecraft 1.17 or later, you need Optifine HD U G9 or later. For version 1.16 and earlier, use Optifine HD U G8. For earlier versions of Minecraft, consider using the original Voyager shader package. Given the numerous options available, you should be able to find a version that suits your setup and adjust it as needed; it can be easily customized in just a few clicks.
Optifine
Voyager shader 2.0 is only compatible with Optifine in versions 1.16.5, 1.7.1, 1.18.2, 1.19.2, and 1.9.3, and the shader will not work properly in previous versions.
