Be sure to connect to Optifine for additional night vision. This way you can see hidden ores and turn off the smooth lighting. It's easier to use than the x-ray module, so pick it up and try anything stupid. 1.13 makes a comeback and will definitely not let you down with new features and better visuals to see through everything. Very standard resolution 16 x similar to vanilla texture, no big problem with x-ray ultimate.
