IPSI is Indonesian Pencak Silat Association
The Indonesian Pencak Silat Association ( IPSI ) is an Indonesian national organization that oversees the official pencak silat activities, including organizing matches, standardizing regulations and others.
At the PB IPSI National Conference at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), Jakarta, on February 27, 2012, Prabowo Subianto was elected for the third time as Chairman of PB IPSI . At the 2011 SEA Games in Jakarta, the Pencak Silat sports branch managed to get the overall champion by winning 9 of the 18 numbers contested. At the SEA Games XXVII in 2003, Indonesia won 4 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze from all 55 medals contested.
